Notre Dame High School head baseball coach, Tom Dill in now the winningest baseball coach in the Mission League, with 503 career wins.
Coach Dill earned his 503rd win against Loyola on Friday night, after the Knights won 15-4 at home, taking the series 2-1.
Dill has been coaching the Knights for nearly 30 years, and now surpasses Scott Mucky, who had led the Mission League with 502 career wins at Crespi.
The Knights are 17-5-1 on the season and are first in the Mission League. The team is getting set to compete in the Boras Classic starting on April 19. Notre Dame will close out its regular season at home against Valley Christian on April 27.
Dill joins former head football coach, Kevin Rooney in being one of the Mission League’s leading coaches of their respective sports. Rooney retired from Notre Dame with 316 wins.
