Laolagi most recently coached at Chaminade and Shalhevet High School, where she served as the assistant varsity girls basketball coach at both schools. At Chaminade, Laolagi and her team capped off the season as CIF Southern Section Division I Semifinalists and CIF State Division I Regional Semifinalists. In addition to an impressive year at Chaminade, Laolagi also helped lead Shalhevet High School to a CIF Division IV State Championship title.
Prior to coaching at Chaminade and Shalhevet, Laolagi was the head varsity girls’ basketball coach and program director at Calabasas High School, where she took the team’s record from 6-22, to a 22-7 record in just four years. While under Laolagi, Calabasas made back-to-back CIF Southern Section Division 3AA and 4AA quarter final appearances.
Laolagi, a Southern California native and a graduate of CSUN and Long Beach State University has also coached at Laurence School, The Buckley School, Harvard Westlake and Birmingham.
