Justin Siegel has been named Notre Dame High School’s head softball coach, announced by Athletic Director Alec Moss on Thursday.
A former 13th round pick of the Texas Rangers out of Long Beach State, Siegel brings a great deal of leadership to Notre Dame having previously coached in high school and at all levels of travel softball for many years.
Throughout his coaching tenure, Siegel has helped develop players now competing in all divisions of college softball, including former Gatorade Player of the Year, Sydney Somerndike (University of Arizona). “Coach Justin has meant so much to me and my softball career over the years. I know I speak for all his former players when I say how excited we are to watch Notre Dame’s program grow and succeed under his leadership.”
The San Fernando Valley native currently manages a 14u national team within the Impact Gold organization and served as the pitching coach for Team Canada in the 2021 Triple Crown International Challenge.
